Privacy Policy and GDPR Compliance

As of May the 25th 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation comes into force throughout all member-states of the European Union.

According to its provisions, the GDPR applies to anyone who processes personal information and is processing it as part of an enterprise. Pursuant to Article 4 Paragraph 18 of the GDPR, “enterprise means a natural or legal person engaged in an economic activity, irrespective of its legal form, including partnerships or associations regularly.” That means that the prerequisite for the GDPR to apply to a website and/or blog is that said website and/or blog must host the economic activity of an enterprise, in the aforementioned sense.

This blog is personal and in no way engages in economic activity of any kind. Thus, in no way does the blog’s author collect or process personal data with the purpose of economic activity of any kind. This is solely a personal blog, where articles or literary pieces are written by the author only for the purpose of expressing personal opinions.
