Ten years ago, on this day, this Greek fantasy firstborn was a newborn—paving the way for its translated sibling, Hydranos.

Truly grateful to the incredible Ocelotos Editions for making these ‘stars’ a ‘truth’ in that summer of 2014 *indispensable pun for this novel’s lovely readership*.
It certainly has been a journey, navigating both in the increasingly dystopian ‘real world’ and the aspiringly utopian one of The Age of Stones. The past few years in the ‘real world’ have been a journey of its own for me, with profound losses but also with unexpected gains. Therefore, carrying on with the next installment of The Age of Stones saga may be happening at an unavoidably slow pace, but that doesn’t change that it IS happening.
At which point, I am thinking, what is the ‘real world’ anyway? If anything, it should at least be a place where being our authentic selves does not equal undoing the same right of all others.
Keep reading about better worlds, keep dreaming of a better world—and help make it happen.
The Greek edition is out of print, but you can grab the English edition of the fantasy novel Hydranos for your next journey into an immersive universe!
